About bStudio
We were founded with expertise and extensive experience in the contract winemaking sector.
Our founders saw an opportunity to apply their expertise in contract winemaking to the burgeoning craft beer industry in New Zealand, which at the time lacked a high-quality, large-scale contract brewing facility. The idea, and bStudio Brewery, were born.
The “b” in bStudio, was originally for beer, since 2017 our expertise and capabilities have widened and the ”b” is now beverage representing the diversification and capability our business has.
Construction and Technology
In 2017, bStudio began constructing a state-of-the-art brewery in the landmark National Tobacco Company Building in Ahuriri.
The project was a “game-changer” for the New Zealand independent craft brewing industry, as it brought in high-quality equipment from German multi-national company Krones, a level of technology previously unseen in the country.
The facility features top-of-the-line bottling and canning lines.
Cornerstone Client
A key partner and cornerstone customer from the very beginning was part of our foundation and journey.
The partner was needing to meet the high demand for its beers.
The partnership allowed the client to produce some core-range beers at bStudio and focus on more ambitious, experimental projects at their own facilities.
